Pure AWSOME!

Bennett looks like a STUD!

Here we go Flames fans.. Get your jerseys, dig out the car flags!!!

Amazing game. Huge hits, big plays, MONSTER saves on both ends.

Need 3 more.

Didn't turn out how I wanted, but heck of a game from both teams. Good job flamers, but still lots of hockey to go before there is a victor.

Flames turned it on in the third again. The 18, 20 and 21 year old were fantastic. The future is bright.

Burrows was dangerous for the Canuckleheads but the sisters were invisible.

Game 2 will be a full nuclear event. Looking forward to it.

Default Did the Flames play last night ..

Who won? I was to busy celebrating ,eating Poutine ,and singing

Alouette , I understands ,Vsncouvers finest are already putting

Up ,the crowd control barriers , getting ready for the loss ...

All those young guns , just shows you what your missing

If your not watching Junior Hockey .

This came through to my phone last night from one of my guys on the coast.

"Don't think we won't burn your city to the ground. Hell we burned down our own."

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

One more sleep till we do it again.

What a bunch of quitters on the Vancouver Canucks web site. Most of them have tossed in the towel.

And whats with the so called "non call" off side on our tying goal? I took a hard look at it, and though it was slightly confusing, the linesmen got it right.

Van might have a point on the high stick "non call" on our winning goal, but I am having a tough time finding video of it.

Default Got my cousin going

She is on island and hardcore Canucks fan so she posted Orca guy in jersey on her FB page before the game to which I replied I hear Flamed orca tastes a lot like smoked salmon?? Haven't seen any more comments from her since "you wait and see funny guy"

One game doesn't make a series but after the Flames young guys got rid of a bad case of the nerves in first period when play was "even" they dominated the second playing their game and pretty much controlled the third except for a couple push backs which are expected. Fun to watch.

Well now that is one proud rioter. lol. Good for him. As for the Van fan quitters, fickle fans, but I don't quit on my team. I will back the Canucks until we are on the golf course, and then compliment their drives. But I do admit it was very frustrating watching the last minute or so of the game and seeing all those canucks standing around while the flames, skating hard, controlled the puck in the Canucks zone. I've seen that type of defense way too many times. You could see the goal coming. aarrrggghhh!!!

Nonetheless, we will come back and hammer on the flames. And I don't mean by burning buildings. lol.

GO CANUCKS!!

If anyone wants a great party night on Friday, I'm selling two great tickets to the Hitmen/Tigers game and then watch the Flames/Canucks on the Jumbotron right after.

Still can't believe we stole Sam Bennett in last years draft, he"s fitting in nicely with the rebuild. Another brilliant move by the Oilers brass to take a pass on him, who would you rather have in your lineup Drysaddle or Bennett...GFG!!

How many cups to the sux have? Go ahead count em up, I'll wait...

Calgary has no top shelf players and had no expectations, they are a lunchbox team that come to play hard game in and game out, Daniella and her sister henrica fold like cheap law chairs year after year and even quicker when faced with adversity. Sports illustrated named the sux THE most hated team in pro sports after the miracle run and it's pretty easy to see why. One team is a bunch of whinning, diving, biting, hair pulling premadonnas. The flames just show up and work hard and get it done. Says ALOT when this coiler fan will get behind he flamers without hesitation over the sux. GO FLAMES!

Glad you're pulling for the Flames and agree with everything you say except for the part about Calgary has no top shelf players, Giordano probably would have won the Norris had he not got injured, Hudler will get lots of votes for the Hart and Lady Bing (76 pts), Johhny probably wins the Calder, Moneyhands scored 31, Russel set an NHL record for the most blocked shots in a season and scores big goals..no top shelf players?? really

Yea, really.
I'm talkin big time players, not most shots blocked. I'll give ya Giordano and maybe Johnny if he has a good follow up year, LOTS of players have lit it up their first year then fell off the face of the earth after that. Hard to call a rookie a top shelf player. The rest of your pics are made wearing your homer glasses, your letting your excitement cloud your judgement. Minus Gio (at best) the rest are only top shelf if your a flames fan. When I say top shelf I'm not talkin players playing over their heads, I mean the likes of vinny, Sid, getzlaf, stamkos, perry, malkin, doughty, the kind of players that go to the Olympics, you know? players who anyone would take on their team at any time

Keep an eye on Monahan 2nd year NHL 31 goals as a 20 year old...
