Default 2015 Alberta Guide To Hunting Regulations???

When might a fella expect this to be available?

Specifically curious about WMUs that will have a supplemental WT season.

That was my thought too.

Do you know why the supplemental seasons are not included in the draw book?

It could make it a bit easier to decide on some draws if you had the knowledge of what you could actually hunt before applying.

Aren't supplemental tags good when there's a general or rifle season for whitetail?

Not across the board. In many zones it is, but a lot don't...

Usually if no changes are mentioned in the "important changes" section at the front...the previous years supplemental zones are valid, but don't quote me on that.

What I am meaning is that if there is a supplemental season near home or somewhere that a person frequently hunts, it may help to know that before applying for other draws.

An example that comes to mind could be Camp Wainwright for me.
Say that I had priority enough to be drawn but for whatever reason, maybe a trip to the base wasn't the best timing this season. If I knew there was a supplemental season where I could help "fill the freezer" closer to home then maybe I'd save the Wainwright trip for next year.

Maybe not the best example but you see what I mean?

Just seemed odd that all the opportunities for the season are not known prior to draw applications.

I am not 100% sure of this but they may issue supplemental tags depending on how many applicants there are. They may want a certain amount of deer harvested and will issue the supplementals if there are not as many applicants as desired. Maybe i am wrong just seems like a possibility.

Not related...supplemental are a "general over the counter tag" the regs are determined before the draw process begins. For all species that had winter surveys.
