Black Panther Movie
Watched the Black Panther at the Thursday night screening.
Great Movie! Very well done, probably one of the best if not the best first/intro movie to a super hero series. Everything from the story line to the acting was on point.
Best part though, all those worried it had an agenda or was pushing black lives matter or whatever arrogant comment are completely wrong. I myself was worried it was going to push to hard on a particular topic and just ruin the movie but instead they addressed the struggle of black lives around the world in an excellent way. And the resolution was very satisfying. Much bigger picture than simply blame the white people for everything.
Would definitely recommend everyone to see it, especially those who were against it. Plus the main actor Chadwick Boseman is genuinely a great person if you watch his interviews, he deserves the support.

Thanks for the review Hamsnacks. I assumed it had a political agenda because that seems to be what the media focused on, and had no intention of seeing it. But now that I have a real world review from you that put those fears to bed - I might just go and see it!

It’s the next movie in the Marvel universe and ties in with the other movies leading up to Avengers Infinity war 1 and 2.
Most characters who will have a more prominent role in the films have had fleshed out origin storylines.
As Black Panther is the one who takes Captain America in following Civil War it makes sense to know more about this character going forward.
It is a comic book come to life and amazing CGI to make it happen.
2 hours to suspend belief and enjoy some great action sequences.
Making it about anything else ruins it and takes away from the entertainment value.
If you can’t handle the Black and White...go watch Shades of Grey.

Spoiler alert!
It's good to hear that the Marvel Nerds are keeping their movies true to their storylines.

It was a great movie. Saw it with my son who is a huge Black Panther fan and was awesome to just see him react and get so fired up for the movie.

Ya, I didn't know he was one of the Avengers, I don't watch the movie series much.
I do like those bald headed chicks with the spears.

I watched this last night and thought it was terrible. Story line was extremely predictable. Switch out the color of the tights, and if you've seen some of the other Marvel shows, you've essentially seen this one.

Agree, don't see what people saw in it, thought it was one of the worst movies I've seen.

Went with my brother and a friend. Had to keep elbowing the friend, snored like a dozer through at least 90 minutes of it lol.
