Default extinct wolf

canada has a extinct wolf.canis lupus beothucus. A sub species of the grey wolf,it had a light almost white fur, short ears, and thick brushier fur. Most noteable the very slender skull.1911 the last know one.Found only on the island of nfld .The most likely cause for the extinction the decimation of the hugh caribou herd, and at one time a five lb bounty a considerable sum for that time. The gray wolf on a couple of rare occassions have been trapped as of late on the island, only 9 miles across from labrador on the artic ice.
