Default Pine Coulee

Anyone been lately? Looking to head that way next weekend as a 1st timer for some walleye action.

Anything a newbie needs to know to fish here either than what's in the regs?

Thanks.

Been out 3 times myself so far this year and have 2 walleye landed to show for it lol. Its been a slow go from what i have heard. I talked to a number of people i saw out and whether they were at the launch or by the bridge results have been similar.

In the past once dark hit you couldn't keep em off the hook.

Went out for a quick evening fish Saturday evening while listening to Flames/Oilers game on the radio. Fished from 6:30-9:30pm at boat launch. Drove onto ice....nice clear 20inches. Very slow....one burb.

I tried deeper 30ft of water prior to leaving for the night and was amazed at how many shrimp/krill there was at the ice surface right below hole. Put one line on bottom and the other 5ft below surface...missed a couple hits on the one at surface. Don't know if they were whites or cruising walleyes...but if I was a fish I'd be hitting up all that food at the surface.

Lots of cars/people at the bridge with their head lamps on when I left.
