Default Now i have to pass it on--

On a trailer trip last summer to the 10 mile lake area, I was fishing a small lake I could see some nice trout riseing, I was right to the tip of the waders, with no luck, got some of my best flys right on some heavy rises--nothing.
Comeing ashore for a rest, and try and come up with a new plan, out of the blue a gentleman walks up to me and asked any luck? no, what flys are you useing? maybe should try these, as he picked 3or4 flys out of a well stocked box. I had a few hundred flys of my own, but not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, when in rome-------he gave some advice about a very light leader, I complyed. I was soon back to the trailer, with a couple of beauties sizzling in the frying pan.

Glad you could take some sage advise and have a bad day turned into a good one. Now what exactly do you have to pass on, because it sure isn't apparent in your post.
