Default Forgetmenot pond

No fish as far as I can tell. Kinda misleading they have a sign that says there is fishing and a information sign by the lake saying it is stocked with trout.

Being so easily accessed it would be a great lake to be catch and release till Sept to get kids and others a chance to at least see a fish.

Pretty lake.

Anyone ever fish it and catch something?

There used to be a few little trout in it at one point. I think it got flushed bad from the flood.

Used to dive there a fair bit. Scared the snot out of a duck once by blasting air from below once.

I have never heard of the pond your talking about, but you might try checking the stocking reports. Kind of reminds me of another thread about a popular pond that has signs saying it's stocked when it's not. LOL
Good luck with Forget Me Not. Hope they stock it for you guy's.

I tried fishing it once till I did some research....They tried stocking it but the water was too cold that no vegetation could grow. Brothernlaw and I jumped in it a few years back and that is some very cold ****...

I advise using a wet suit if attempting this pond

Quite a few years back I remember seeing some swimming around in there. Water is crystal clear and not very deep so I dont think there are any there anymore.

Too cold to maintain any vegetation and feed for fish....I believe they only stocked it one year...Its too bad....The pond is amazingly clear and a great place to hang out for a day.

Yes, the bottom is generally rock/silt. Little to know plants if I recall.

We used to go night diving there, lay on the bottom and look up at the stars.

It does seem fairly deep at parts and I have spotted trout in there the past few years. They are all really small but it's fun to watch them. It is a nice spot to take the family.
