Well I busted my 490 RPL yesterday, I'm going to send it away tomorrow I wonder how long this rod will take 90% of the rods are under 8 weeks but this stick is 25 years old.

Got my Fly Rod back today from Sage Warranty .. looks great just have to try it out tomorrow ..lol..just under 8 weeks not too bad !!!

I joined the club yesterday. Guess I'm going to have to call them. Anyone had a piece that was 15 - 20 years old replaced? Do they manufacture something as close to the original as possible? Mine broke just above the female ferrule which likely just got knicked and weakened over the years.

I know they have RPL+ blanks, sent a broken 4wt in a couple yrs ago and it got fixed. If they don't they'll just send you the nearest comparable new rod.
