Proof That Firearms Prohibitions Don't Work.
Prohibited for life from possessing firearms, yet he not only had a handgun, he smuggled it into a police cruiser when he was arrested.

Sounds like the cops involved could use a bit of retraining on frisking a perp. And he'll likely get bail, may even be back out already.

Proof is irrelevant, liberals and gun grabbers don't deal in proof they deal in emotions. They know full well that prohibitions don't do a darn thing and that gun control in a relatively peaceful country like ours is folly. They deal in emotions and prey on the irrationality of uneducated people by making gun control announcements that only penalize law abiding gun owners. It's easier to come after us than it is to do the work that would have prevented this guy from having a pistol. We're the low hanging fruit, it's easy and bloodless to hound us because most will comply for fear of being arrested and ending up with a criminal record. I fear a day in my children's or grandchildrens future where private gun ownership in this country will be a thing of the past.

Why frisk him at all, they know he didn't have a firearm as he was banned from owning one.
That's how it works right? If they ban them, nobody will have them?

I read a news report of the Toronto Police noting they discovered a type of holster on him that they'd not previously seen. I don't know if that's a cover story or if there's a type of holster that better mimics what a body would feel like in a pat-down. Perhaps a holster with a silicone exterior shaped to feel like a body contour?
