Default Need help id'ing this shotgun

Hello everyone, I'm hoping to receive some help in identifying this shotgun my son in law picked up for a case of beer. There is no manufacturer anywhere on the gun that we can find. Only "12 GA" stamped on the barrel, and "2338S" on the receiver, barrel, and the part the front grip mounts to. Pics attatched, lets see if someone knows this thing. Thanks much!

looks like the old CIL but at the time (60's) I think everyone and their brother was making single shots. Sears Roebuck?

Looks like one of the many single shots that came out of the Chicoppee falls area, Cresecnt Arms, American Arms, Hopkins and Allen etc.....

Thanks for some direction. We were hoping to find some exploded diagrams before tearing this down for some serious cleaning.
