Default New rings for viper hs 30mm on a savage 11/111?

Just bought a vortex viper hs 2.5-10x 44 with the 30mm tube. Which rings mate best with that and my savage 11/111 30-06?

I must agree with Mateo's suggestion of a Pic rail. Reason being is that Savages have a long receiver and the distance between the front and rear base mounting screw holes, depending on the length of the scope tube, may not allow for proper eye relief. Another issue is that even precision rings may not allow for concentricity between fore and aft rings. The screw holes may not be in perfect horizontal alignment meaning that lapping may be necessary as to not bend the scope tube. In fact, I have in my shop a Remington 700 Mountain TI with Talleys. The alignment rods show at least a 3/32" vertical offset fore to aft. You can get the most precise rings and bases in the world, but if the receiver heights or the drilled holes are not in line, you still have an issue that needs correcting.
