Default Salting a cape for dummies :)

My son starts his archery quest for a moose this weekend. Couple real decent bulls on cam. May be worth a mount down the road if the kid connects on such a trophy. We would cape to the high neck and then let a Taxidermist do the rest as I have never caped a head before. Once caped, the taxidermist can have it tanned for future mounting. I would do a Euro mount for now until we decide or the kid can pay for the mount .

Best brand/type of salt to buy?

Best way to apply to exposed hide?

Taxidermist choice in Edmonton(area) who would cape and tan now, mount later?

Thanks, always appreciate the info given.
