Default bushnell Fusion 1600?

Anyone look at one of these yet? It has my attention. The price is good. The reviews I have seen are good but would like to see if any of my trusted AO friends hade any thoughts.
I am not trying to start a lepuold vs Bushnell vs zeiss vs.......
Thanks Brad

i just bought a pair...havent field tested them yet but will this weekend.

My only gripe so far is how dim the RF display is when outside. I have it on the brightest setting and its hard to see in the city...ill see how it does in the bush

otherwise these are awesome!

I dont own a pair but the same experience as jaime, got to play with a pair a few weeks ago.

Outranged the bushnell and leupold rangefinders I was playing with at the same time.

The display is not as bright as it could be for a sunny afternoon veiwing.

Glass seemed bright and crisp, if its the same glass as the e2 series binocs they will be awesome in low light.

Thanks I cant wait to hear a full field review from you. What did you pay for them? and where did you get them? Does anyone know. What binoculars have the same glass.

Thanks Brad

Glass is clear, used at dusk and its pretty bright, greenish tint to glass.

Longest range 1722 yards at a large electrical box (one mile is 1760 yards!!!)
Black object a little smaller than a moose was 805 yards
8x14 cargo trailer 1035 yards
Hillside 1360 yards

It has a ballistic matching program to match it to your ammo to tell you your hold over.

Paid 903 all in and I would do it over again.

played with mine over the weekend...the dim display killed it for me...im returning them

i tried ranging over a wheat field mid day with the sun at my back and you can NOT see the display for the rangefinder

as a binocular they are steller...the rangefinder works very well too....except you cant see the damn thing

i can only imagine how hard it would be to see while coyote hunting over a blanket of white snow

returning them on my way home from work tonight....gonna invest in a pair of Leica Geovids like i should have done in the first place.

i sent off an email to there "service" department whether or not they had a fix for the issue and if the newer models would be fixed.

They basically said no...there is nothing wrong with the display...but i could send my unit in and they would have a look at it....waiting six months just to get them back and be told there is nothing wrong doesnt sound like fun to me.

I bought two pair, one pair was bright and the other was so dim that I couldn't see it in daylight. I switched the batteries, adjusted both to the brightest setting and still the one was a lot brighter. I took them both back to show the sales guy, he returned the dim pair with a bright pair. I have no problems now with either of them. The readout display is only in the right eye. I couldn't be happier with clarity, low level light and the rangefinding awesome, I've heard its better at rangefinding than the $2000 plus models.

I have a pair also. I love them, great binocular with a greenish glass. Range finder works great. I too was having problems seeing the display during mid day but found i was on the second lowest brightness for the display. Haven't tried them yet on a bright day since adjusting the brightness

Paid less for them at the Sportsman Den in Red Deer, than advertised at WSS

After using mine in all kinds of conditions this weekend I love mine. They are awesome. No problems with the visibilty of the display at all, and they are simple to use and the clarity of the binoculars is excellent in all light conditions

Very happy with the purchase

Default I held a pair the other day

I like them, nice weight, galss seems good, The guys at P&D let me take them outside to play with them. It was difficult to see the display in the bright light, but it wasnt a deal breaker. There is a blue tinge to the glass but it didnt bother me. Have not baught them yet but I think I will.
