Default Great binos for a great price !

Just noticed yesterday GPS Central* had Steiner Predator 10x42's on sale (combo pack actually, LED flashlight incl.) for $350.

http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories...inoculars.html

The binos themselves are $420-$500 depending where you look, the cheapest retail-price being at GPS Central also.

The glass is very clear & crisp, but I haven't got to try them in low-light conditions yet (just bought them an hour ago).

* caveat - GPS Central has this combo on sale until today, but online only because the store is closed. I called Wholesale Sports to request/confirm "price-match" availability and they approved it.

So I went to WSS and bought them, they might have another BNIB pair and for sure have the display combo left.

Also, the included flashlight comes with a fancy gift box. I'm giving mine to my father.

We have a set of them at work, very impressed with the quality. I found they worked pretty good in low light conditions, especially considering the (somewhat) reasonable price.
