Default Beautiful Fall Day

Went for a drive today and the scenery was incredible! Through the Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek and Waterton areas the colors were gorgeous! It was cloudy and very windy (not a surprise for that area) but still beautiful.
Thought I would share a little.....

Happy Fall everyone!

O.W.

Fall is my favourite time of year also. I could tolerate the current weather, mild temperature and nice evenings that we currently experience - all year long. Nice pictures too.

Beautiful pics, makes me miss my old stomping grounds....except for that wind!

I drove the other direction this past weekend, north to High Level/Lacrete....and was also really amazed by how beautiful the drive was. Great fall colors, and a balmy 18 C outside.....crossing the Peace on the Tompkins Ferry was very surprised by how warm it was, and the view was incredible.

Of course, I'm not brilliant enough to pack a camera.....but I also love fall in Alberta. All 4 days of it.....

Great pics, great fall colours. Did the same up this way, drove round taking in the great day and the fall colours.
Had to go for a drive, 'cause all of my hunting fields are being cut today. Still, should get good hunting after the crops are down on two quarter sections of barley and a quarter section of peas, plus another quarter of oats a kilometer further up the road. For now, I have to stick to slinging some decoys out on the lake.
The fall serves as a reminder that winter is not too far away.Got my winter projects lined up. Bought 5 fly rod blanks to build this winter, stocked up on hooks and materials for flies and have one room to finish on the basement, to complete all of the reno's.
