If your still here in Alberta, you may want to check with your District Fish & Wildlife Officer befor selling that sheep head, unless you have already registered it for selling. Some of the stuff may need some export permits if you want to move it out of Alberta, particularly to the USA, etc.

JR, I would be interested in the moose sheds and if you have the permits for the sheep, I would take that too.
I will be out of town until Wednesday night.

Not sure on Mosse a shds for what they are worth but for whitetail sheds they go for a decent price depending on the size and it pays for the gas and a few bucks extra so it is worth it on E-bay. You can not sell any dead wildlife either found or killed. You might be able to if you get a permit but I don't know. Probably could but you better check. Some 150 class bucks sold on E-bay go for a fair bit and I would love to get rid of a few of mine crowding up the trophy room but it is probably more hassle than anything. I had a hunter from Michagan that I guided and I found an old dead deer that he wanted to take home. I told him I would get the permits and in the end it cost well over $100 to send it legaly to the U.S. All for an old 155 sscoring bleached out rack. Not worth it especially when I got stuck with the bill.

If you are in Edmonton, Halford Hides will buy the sheds by weight.

Save your sheds. At that price, im guessing its only for the sizable, good brown stuff anyways. They wont give you jack for white and cracked. I would stock pile em till ya got enough to build a nice archway in the yard.

Consider donating sheds to the AFGA
The AFGA takes in sheds as donations, and the money raised goes back into securing habitat land. All AFGA habitat property is open to hunting, although most of it is foot access only.
Just a thought!

I was told that sheds need no permit to sell.
Antlers attached to a skull will need a permit.
2 yrs after registered / permit, then you can sell them.
