Honestly, go to Northern Lights Archery in Lac La Biche.
Go and see Rene and he will tune your bow and tell you more then you will ever need to know about anything to do with archery.

All this guy does is Archery. You know when you meet someone and you can tell immediately if they actually know what they are talking about? This is it.

It takes a lot to impress me, and I'll tell you I won't go anywhere else.

When I first started shooting I bought some bow at a show, drove out to his place on a friends recommendation ( which is in his garage with probably.. oh... 150+ bows ) and just asked him if he could help me.
He spent about 3 hours with me, tuned my bow, adjusted my sights, moved my d-loop, dialed in my limbs, laser sighted the rest and the string, showed me how to hold and shoot properly, explained to me why you need to match arrows to bow draw + weight, answered technical questions... etc.
Didn't charge me a dime.

Another thing of note, all his equipment like his bow press he built from scratch.
Who does that?
Someone also mentioned to me he's one of the top Hoyt dealers in Canada, out of his garage... haha.

Just one of the few people I've ever met that lives and breathes their profession and cares more about that and their reputation then money.

Anyways, I'll stop brown nosing.

Rene is awesome, I bought a few bows off of him. He started out as an instructor and started bringing in equipment for his students, that's how he got started. I bought so many Hoyt's off of him one year he went out of his way to introduce me to the Canadian reps. Got me hooked up with a bunch of Hoyt apparel. Great guy to learn from.

Dallas is by far the best i've met. He's the only tech in the shop usually some people walk in and expect business immediately. SPAl is the only place ill shop. I bought my brother a bow from there and he accidentally dry fired it (i told him not to but he was a newbie at the time). I took it to Dallas and told him what happened he fixed it free of charge. Checked for splintering and the whole works. He's the best IMO
