Jets a bit more jump to start the third. Flames better keep up the speed.

Hopefully this pp gets the Flames going...though I think they have done ok. Tkachuk sure draws penalties...

Yeah, Frobert got it good in the face, off Talbot's stick that time. I haven't seen that much blood on the ice in a game since Nordiques played Habs.....

Got to say, the Flames put in a great effort tonight, every man. Didn't see any deadwood or slacking anywhere. Hard work, grit and discipline 200 foot game. I like what I saw. And Talbot is cool in net. I like that.

Johnny with the empty net, 6-2, and that's gonna seal the deal.

That was a solid 60 minute team effort, really liked the effort from the whole team.

Whhhhoooooopppppp! That's a win!

Agree that was a whole team full 60 effort. Hard hits, and feet a movin, got to the puck most of the game. Big game Big win.

The pp was the difference, same as first game. 3 pp goals, as opposed to none in the game yesterday. Really good effort though, every line.

....and to give credit, since I've been hacking on Monohan....a goal and two assists, shook off a bad hit to score on pp....good game for him.

Thoughts on the Bennet hit? I think he was finishing a check, however it was basically right in the numbers. And his back was to bennet most of the time as bennet was skating up. Btw I have no skin in this series but I am enjoying it

I'm a big fan of Bennett, but that hit was right in the back and into the boards, he didn't let up....I think he gets a game suspension anyway. I don't say he is dirty, he is just absolutely engaged in this game and as you say, finishing a hit. But he shouldn't have in this case. Hopefully Perreault isn't injured and out. I really appreciate his skill as well.

Might depend on how injured Perreault is. I didn't see as a dirty hit with intent but still illegal. I think he might get off with a fine.
And hey cudos for being an objective fan.

Eleven bucks, but it's Canadian Tire money.

I was looking at Hellebuyck's stats for the regular season. He had fantastic numbers, one of the top goalies this year, Vezina material. For the Flames to be scoring on him the way they have this series is impressive. I have been very glad to be wrong in my prediction, they seem to have come to play. Talbot needs to keep up his game, and see how it goes...

Dube, Bennett and Lucic....best line out there tonight imo. Bringing the grind, but skating hard, and got both goals so far. Lucic even driving the net hard like a power forward, he was actually going *gasp* fast!
