Default Wireless Heated Socks ?

Anyone use heated socks when outside in the cold and you're not moving much? I spent 4 1/2hrs chasing tiger trout seated in a frameless pontoon and my feet hanging in 5C water. My feet are still tingling 2 days later in spite of 5 layers of silk, polypro, merino and neoprene.

I'm thinking about https://www.amazon.ca/Dr-warm-Wirele...cx_mr_hp_atf_m

BTW fishing was pretty good, it was the first time I got into multiple tigers. They were hitting olive willies and thin mints.

Thanks

Though I haven't used heated socks for fishing, my (professional) experience as a hiking/snowshoe guide and Avalanche Safety Training Instructor is, when it comes to heated socks, you get what you pay for!! Don't cheap out!! You need to spend the $ for a good brand (look at Lenz, Thermic, Hottronic). Fair warning - they are expensive!

Not sure what would happen if your waders spring a leak, but I suppose they are low voltage...

COSTCO has some in stock and also have heated finger type gloves. I do not recall the price but gloves were around $100 +- and the socks $200 +-.

I have bought about every pair I can as my partner has cold feet constantly

I have yet to buy a pair that work.

Cabelas sold misty mountains......as i recall they were the most useless pair.

Still searching.........

Milwaukee makes a great vest, but i havent seen socks yet

I have the Lenz I use for skiing.
They work well for me.
The secret is to keep them high enough to just keep your feet from being cold, room temperature if you will, but not hot.
They are very expensive but worth it to me to be able to ski all day without cold feet.
