Default Selling a registered rifle

Just wondering what is involved in selling a fire arm. I'm assuming you would have to do it when the registry is open so the owner and buyer can phone in their details. Is this correct or can you do it on a weekend and the buyer transfers it at his own leisure?

Transfer should be complete before you ship, that should explain when you have to do it.

1) Get Buyers PAL # and Full name, shipping address and telephone#
2) Seller Calls CAFC with Sellers info and the Buyers info
3) You/ Seller will get a confirmation # from CAFC
4) Send confirmation# to Buyer to complete the transfer
5)Transfer completed by the buyer, Buyer should contact you when it is done.
6) Ship the firearm, when transfer is complete.
