After a 7 hr trip over what seemed like a road built on hoo doo's( I think that's what they're called down in the badlands of Alberta) I made it to the central hunting camp where I was greeted by a old friend( he is very old) and his lovely wife. After a cup of coffee, some paper work, some bs and a slice of lemon meringue pie that would be hands down the best I've ever ate (one problem was there wasn't enough) we headed across the valley to the hunting grounds. No sooner did we get thru the gate into our high fenced hunting area I seen the species that we were after. The shooting started and when the smoke cleared I don't know how many shots were fired or how many animals were taken but I will say Gophering sure is fun.
Thanks blkpwderlee and mrs blkpwderlee. I'll be better organized so I can stay for more than a couple.
Red frog mrs blkpwderlee makes a very very good pie. Suggest you get there before ol wise owl gets into it.
Well. since we have a new sheriff in town, I can't really say what I'd like to you and that old guy, so I'll just say when life hands you lemons, send them to Donalda for recycling.
