Default Looking for a Burris, Bushnell, Steiner scope review

Hey everyone,

So I am getting a new rifle and only really deal with 1 shop as hes the most honest guy you could work with and provides great service. He deals in Bushnell, Burris, U.S. optics and steiner

I was wondering who has the bushnell 4500, Fullfield II™ Riflescope 3-9x40mm, Burris veracity riflescope or the steiner GS3

Long list but I have a 3k budget to setup this gun and want to do it right so looking for first hand reviews on the above.

Gun will either be a bergara or Sako A7 rough tech pro

If it was my choice it would be the verocity hands down. Although the high end Steiners are really nice as well.

Aren't Steiner scopes made by Burris?

I think you should go handle the scopes and look through them for yourself. I've found optics to be a very personal preference thing.

I gotcha. I've read good reviews on both the Burris fullfield 2 and the bushnell 3500 and up series. I'm not using either, but would probably lean towards the bushnell if it was my money if for nothing else than their new warranty policy.

Sorry I can offer any real world experience on them.

Have had all 3. For me bushnell is the bottom of the barrel for those choices. Absolutely love my gs3, super clear and very good in low light. The full field I haven't had quite as long but seems to be good so far, not quite as clear or bright but I think for the price it's a pretty good scope. Also to be fair to the Burris it's a 44mm obj and the gs3 is a 56mm.

I run both a Steiner Ranger as well as a GS3 scope. Both are good scopes but I'd give the nod to the Ranger for brightness. Lifetime warranty if any issues.

Default veracity

the burris veracity is 1st focal plane if your used to shooting with 2nd focal plane scopes it take a lil bit to get used to a 1st FP, they are solid scopes very accurate and hold over and track superbly
Steiner scopes are excellent quality extremely bright and clear well worth the money, id buy the veracity before another steiner save a bit of coin for decent mounts or rings

Great choice! My Veracity had better optics than my XTR II. They are very good scopes.

I've been impressed with Vortex optics as of late.

I used to have the viper, sold it with my tikka. Looked at them again, prices have come up and not sure but it seems quality has dropped due to reviews I have gotten

Besides Vortex, my other preferred optics are Leupold and Sightron. As Vortex are more affordable for my style of shooting, they not once have failed me. Of course prices do come up, but that is the general consensus with anything firearm related.

I understand they come up, was just one of the factors. When trying the vortex vs the burris, burris won
