Default Cardiff Pond slobs

Couldn't believe the amount of garbage around the edges today, all left by the power bait plunkers. These people should learn how to respect the park or lose their licences.

A $2000 fine would go a long way towards curbing their stupidity

I was out there for the first time in a long time yesterday and also saw the garbage along the shore.

Your elitist comment re "These people" is ridiculous of course.

I suspect that garbage is left behind by humans that also use worms, leeches, spoons, corn, cheese, fornication, and maybe even flies!

You need to come down to the East Hillcrest bridge in the Crowsnest Pass. Lots of garbage and empty cans from beer drinking pukes who are 95% fly fishers.
Most fly fishers start off with spinning gear and unfortunately don't clean up their act when they make the switch. Many of them just get better at looking over their shoulder with their nose turned up.

One time a group of fly fishers were nice enough to clean a stretch of shoreline on Eagle lake (the hike in access by YaHa Tinda) and dump it all in my canoe assuming it was mine... guess they figured if I can pack in a canoe I could pack out the garbage they collected.
