What is the best seat covers for hunting and a dog
I'm in the market for a good pair of seat covers for my truck. I tether my dog in the back seat but still have hair and paw prints from one end of the cab to the other. I'm looking for something that the hair doesn't stick to and easy to wipe the mud off when I'm go to wear good clothes. I have been looking at Headwaters seat covers but they are very pricey. Please let me know what you are use and how you like them

I have leather seats in my truck and no carpet.
No problem with hair or anything else from my girl.

I have removable ones that clip around the head restraints and drape over the sides of the seats. I'll send brand info when I get home. Leather seats, but they wouldn't last long with a Newfoundland.

Someone might use that as incentive to buy a new truck.

Costco.ca has custom orderable seat covers in two types and several colour options. I just ordered a set of neoprene ones for my truck, haven’t received them yet to give a review.

I will have to make up my mind weather I want to try another hammock or a custom fit seat cover like Headwaters for $50.00 more then the Orvis .

For the rear seat, which is where my dog is allowed, I just bought a Browning waterproof cover at Canadian Tire when they were on sale. After two years, it has held up fine.

I bought a set of Marathons out of the states back when i had my '96 dodge, best ones i have ever had, fit was perfect. I ordered camo ones made of the cordura material, they weren't cheap but they were awesome, i'd take them off and wash them a couple times of year. www.marathonseatcovers.com

I really like my Northwest Seat Covers. They are expensive but have had my current set for 3 years and they look great and are tough. I have thrown muddy kennels and dirty dogs on the seats and just wipe them off with a damp cloth. They are the ballistic nylon covers. Good thickness to them. For really messy seats they are removable to throw them in the wash. I like that as a backup plan but they have always come clean with a damp cloth. Unlike other covers they cover the back of the seat too. You can add gun loops or seat back pockets. My Dad still has a set in his hunting truck going on 12 years now. They are camo and although have faded from the sun they still work great. No tears or cuts and has been a true hunting truck. Two 70 lb dogs in the back seat all the time as well as guns and tools and whatever else you need. Plus they are Canadian!

They will go on sale for 10-15% off almost every holiday so pay attention!
