Default Favorite lake to fish?

What's your favorite lake to fish at, if you could only choose one? For myself, I'd say Osoyoos Lake in southern B.C.

Growing up, it was Pine Lake. Awesome perch fishing in those days. Now, I'd say Newell, Crawling Valley, or Blood Indian.

Why comment then lol

My favourite lake depends on species. However, my favourite lake for icefishing is probably wabamun.

Default Favorite lake to fish

When I was a kid growing up, it was Moose Lake, but that was 45 years ago.

I have limited experience fishing outside of Alberta but I have fished in many parts of Alberta. I would agree with Newell. I also really like moose lake and if I was asked this question 15 years ago I would have said pinehurst.

Summer and winter - Lesser Slave ( but I am a bit biased...... )

But you can't beat Utikima in the winter, though - someone is almost ALWAYS gonna catch something big. Sometimes REALLY big.

Went out there last winter. Had a good day of fishing with my dad! We didn't catch any monsters but caught some real nice ones. But my ice auger stopped spinning so we didn't get to move around to find the fish as much as I liked to.
