That is awful. As a father of 2 young boys I couldn't imagine the pain. It is my biggest fear.
My heartfelt condolences. He seemed like a great kid.

I cannot fathom the depth of your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

From your sons posts it was evident he was both mature beyond his years and a fine young man.

I'm so sorry to hear of your great loss, there are no words that can help you bear this, but I hope you can receive some measure of comfort from the positive energy and prayers sent out from this group. I always enjoyed seeing his posts and pictures and he helped me get back out into the field because of his obvious love of the outdoors, it was infectious. please accept my thoughts and prayers tonight for you and your family.

Harold, I cannot understand the depth of emptiness you must feel right now. Our condolences and well wishes are pebbles into a well, but please know that your son's mistakes and successes, joys and fears, are all his legacy in the memories of the ones he loved most. Let these great things well up and fill in the empty spaces. Talk about them and mourn.

I really am sorry for your loss.

That is so unbelievably terrible. He was a great role model for young people who love the outdoors. I did not know him personally but i always had great respect for his passion for hunting and how welll he portrayed that on this board. I love watching young people grow up with the respect and enthusiasm that he had. I can't imagine the pain as a father.
