Default Mule Deer Landowner Tags

I just wanted to clear things up about the non-typical mule deer that was posted on here a few days ago because it was my father who harvested the buck, and the previous post was full of false information. Unlike the previous post had said the buck was not taken on a landowners tag but instead a draw tag which took 7 years to aquire. Also the buck was not chased from public land the buck was on our private land and had been on there for some time. I have pictures and video of this buck on our private land dating back to the summer of 2014. I just wanted to clear the air and set things straight because I was quite disappointed in the false information floating around about my fathers buck.

I don't care if it was taken with a landowner tag , as long as it is legal and it was , and who's business is it anyway . ? Congrats to your dad on a beauty .

Default Muley

Congrats to your father on a great deer. Draw tag, or landowner tag, doesn't matter. If all the whiners think it's such a perk to get a landowners tag, go buy some land and have at her! You'll soon discover how lucrative it is. You'll get to have a lovely mortgage, land taxes, and the bonus of getting to deal with the hoards of trespassers( they're usually the ones crying about the landowner tags and grazing lease access).
Nice buck!

Default land owners tag

even if your dad shot that mulie on a land owners tag on his own property that is how it works. it's the people that acquire a land owners and then hunt ten miles from their property that break the law.

That is a fine deer partner, and anytime an animal of that distinction turns up there will be those who start rumours or perpetuate them without any solid info .
A lot of that comes from straight jealousy .
Again, congrats to your dad on a great buck!
