Default Too late to call moose?

I have a couple of bulls on camera fighting a few days ago. I want to know if any of you have had success with calling this late in the season.
Do you cow call? Bull call? Rake bushes?

I am open to suggestions.

Watched a bull grunt and re-work a few rubs at a waterhole last night but also saw 4 bulls hanging around grazing. So I am thinking if the bulls are close some cow calling would work. Don't think they are looking for any real fights beside some friendly sparing!

Cow calling? Bull calls?

A mixture of both?

Call, call, call. You may get a secondary responder ie. wolves!!!

Default Golden ranches moose

I know i've spent probably a total of over 150HRS in the bush in 248 (out at Golden ranches) I haven't seen a single moose or whitetail in over 3 weeks .... and of course both me and my dad got drawn for the special draw antler-less (dad antlered) slug tag that opened on OCT 25-Dec7

If any one could help me out at all send me a private message pretty please!!!! not looking to take a honey hole or anything, just get some meat for the freezer since we got nothing last year..... PLEASE!!!!

Default It's worth a try.

I called in a cow tonight.

I set up on a field edge about 3:00.
I was confident I had heard a moose in the bush on my trek in.
I didn't push the conversation. I did push some deer along though. They'll be back.

So, I mewd/chirped only once and maybe every 45-50'minutes. Very low key and quiet.
I knew there was moose in the area and I knew I would be heard.
Those ears!!!

The old girl showed up at 5:47. She was dead a minute later.
And then the work started.
Big old cow got one between the eyes.
