Default atv track question.

hey guys im looking into a track kit for my 2010 can am, and i found a set of tracks that was originally on a 2011 king quad 750. i know there are adapter kits out there to go from one manufacturer of atv to another but im not having much luck, has anyone dealt with this before (the tracks im looking at are made by camoplast).

thanks in advance
Cheers

Best bet is to find a dealer that sells the tracks and go from there.

I'm sure your already aware but just wanted to mention my experience with tracks. I only have a kodiak 450 and the quad simply didn't have the power. If I remember right it was like losing 30% of your power and gaining 200lbs. Ya in nice fluffy snow no problem but try moving around in 18" of wet, slushy snow. Not the right fit for me but guys with power shouldn't have an issues.

Thanks for the info. I got the 800 so it shouldn't be an issue. I'm getting the tracks for cheap so I'll see if it's worth it

Best thing to do in my opinion is to call the manufacture of the track and give them the track info and see if they can provide you with a conversion kit or if they will even work on your machine.

I figured as much it's just where to buy em. Google says coopers powersports in Edmonton does, so I'm thinking it warrants a phone call on Monday

It should be more than an adapter, they come with a hub that has several bolt patterns, what you will be buying is a kit with bars and plates that match your machine front and back,,,,hope you have power steering and look out for logs,, carry a saw is all I got to saw cuz you will need it.

If you can make the plates, I have a set of bars you can have for free if it's not a 1000 I used those bars in my kit, I only have the the smaller ones left

Yeahi could only imagine. These parts don't have anything to do with gbe track it's self. It's more of the brackets for the steering limiter and the anti rotation braces for the rear tracks.
