Elk in WMU 347-353

I'm doing some deer hunting near fox crek in 347&353 begining of October. I saw in the regs that there is a general tag for 3 point Elk in thoes areas. I've never hunted in that area before and was wondering if there is a fair population of Elk there? I know the age old adage of 'better to have the tag and not fill it, than see the animal and not have the tag' but curious to know what the chances are.

get the tag. we did some work at a gas plant in 347 last year and saw plenty of cow elk with calves so there are bulls somewhere...
