Default Archery hunting during general season

In an area that requires a special license tag for antlered mule during the general season but a general license during the archery season, can you still hunt with a bow and a general tag during the general season?

The regs appear to have a season for archery only with a general tag, and then a special license season, but the two do not overlap.

Thanks,

nrsmatth,

When the special license season comes into effect for the draw tag, the general tag is no longer valid in that zone for that species, regardless of weapon. You can only use the general tag up to the date that the special license season opens.

When there is a black square (draw) next to a season....you NEED to hold the draw to hunt during those times....archery tackle DOES NOT give you a free pass to continue during a general draw season.

That is why the dates do not over lap....
