Default Yet another Upper/Lower K Status question

Hey folks, just as the title says, does anyone know if these lakes are fishable? I'm sure the dam is free of ice but I wanted to see if the ice is completely gone yet.
thanks in advance folks!
Cheers

My son camped in the snow up at Point Campground last Thursday. His pics of the lake still show ice in sections of the lake. Looked clear around the shorelines. Was submerged and slushy looking in the center of the lake in his pics

Was there camping over the weekend. Left Monday afternoon.
Lower lake:
- Panorama (on the South Western side, across from Bolton, where the upper lake flows in) was open water for the weekend.
- Canyon (near the boat launch on the Northern end of the lake) had a bit of open water near the shore to the South of the launch, however there was no way you could safely get into a postition to cast or land a fish there.
- Everywhere else was iced up entirely to the shoreline.

Upper lake:
- drove up to the lot to take a look and everything that we could see was still iced over.

It looked like the ice on the lower was still a few warm or windy days away from breaking up. I'd guess that most of the shoreline might be open by this weekend, but that'll depend on the weather out there this week.
