Or leave the bugger to rot and takes the sows and piglets.

There is a 'secret spot west of Sundre. The landowners there actually want them gone and will help you locate them. (You didn't hear this and I was never here.....)

Had been to Saskatchewan for feral pigs on three occasions. Was successfully on all three. The land owner had problems with the hogs causing damage on the river banks, which in turn F & W tried to blame his cattle for the damage. The hogs were wreaking havoc on his round bales, and graineries. We had permission to hunt the islands he farmed on the S. Saskatchewan river. Once the crops were off we had free rein of the islands. On the way back from a fishing trip up north of P.A. we stopped in got the written permission and scoped out the lay of the land. We chose to wait until the river froze enough for a sled to allow easier access. Thus making locating the hogs much easier. We did a few pushes of the islands and were also successful still hunting where they had crossed from the islands to the mainland. The pig numbers were in the 15 -30 range. The three I harvested were made into sausage and 1" chops. The land owners were quite happy.
