Some awesome rooms.

If I can ever get the time I would like to make a man cave. Sadly all rooms seem to be kid caves at the moment.

I have seen a great feature wall made with a dark gray painted wall, accent lighting behind a short canopy from the ceiling and sized whole white birch trees about three to four inches in diameter with only the smaller branches removed. Then array vertical along the wall. The white bark lit up in front of a dark background gives a real outdoorsy feel to it.

Default Man cave accessories

I make chandeliers, lamps, coffee tables, arm chairs, door handles, from antler besides animals carved into moose antler. Some with your antler or my shed antlers .

So... $2/sq ft flooring. Check
$1 / sq ft paint. Check
$5-10 / sq ft wood paneling. Check
$7500 cast iron stove. Check
$18000 for old roof hanging on wall. Check
$100000 in taxidermy. Check
But I'm still missing something. Shoot that's right, no more wife.... Darn I knew I forgot something.

I was single for quite a while after my divorce in '05. Started living very... Rustically. One girlfriend commented my whole house was a man cave, all I was missing was a fire pit complete with charred bones in my living room. I remarried in '13 to a wonderful, kind, warm (sexy and younger) woman that has brought some civilized touches to my life. Think I was weeks away from cave painting and dressing in hides

First step to recovery is admitting it. I just had a twinge of shop envy.
