Default bear hunting question

This might sound like a dumb question but here goes. I have watched a lot of bear hunting shows recently and i have to say that I cannot tell the difference between a boar and a sow. It might be easier out in the field to identify the sex of a bear, but as far as i can tell, if you are not over a bait site and have some time to study the animal it seems very diffucult to determine sex. I will google for more info, but would like to hear what some experianced bear hunters have to say about this. Can you readily tell if your looking at a boar or a sow, esp. rifle hunting and spotting them at a distance.

Honestly you really need to be able to see the head for 100%, but that's just me. Small head and big ears=female, littler ears and big wide head=male

sure tehre are lots more people with more experience than me

This is the kind of thinking we are up against, vote Conservative this election!
