Default Moose Hunt - 2011?

I debated whether to post this or not, but decided to do so. I have very limited experience hunting moose and am debating drawing my tag (P8) this fall. Currently after some discussions I have been considering/investigating WMUs 328, 344, 445, 420, 418, and 441. Never having shot a moose before I guess my goals are to not waste my points on an easy to draw or poor zone, and have a good hunt experience with a solid opportunity for a bull. At the end of the day I'd be happy getting my first moose but would like to select a zone with a realistic chance at a 40 - 50+" bull. Anyone with more moose experience have any thoughts relative to these zones or others? PM would be fine as well if you would prefer.
Thanks.

I'd scratch 418 off that list if your looking for a good moose.I'm sure there are a few there but they are very few and even further between.... I can't comment on the other wmu's as I have no experience with them.

I am not sure what the priority needed for 328 is, there are some decent bulls there but the hunting would be real tough. I would not hold out for a big one there.

Not sure what priority needed but an 8 should get you into some of the good east central (200 series) WMU's or ask what the new for 2011 100 series WMU's hold.

Might find a good one in a WMU were they have never been hunted.

I know it's not on your list, but I think I might hold out for Wainwright.
I saw some big boys in there.

Not sure how much experience you have hunting but one thing to remember.....there is no such thing as a small moose and the work start AFTER it is down....after being in on many moose hunts you must remember these 2 things...

One thing I do have experience with is packing out a couple moose, and yep they are really big critters. In a crazy sort of a way I'm looking forward to the challenge.
