Went to the show in Edmonton last night, pretty disappointing. Anyone else think the same. $16 To park now, unbelievable.

Haven’t gone, but live nearby and been amused at all the big sledneck rigs around for it. Never seen so many jacked up diesels.

Ouch.... even worse! If you ever get a chance come down to expo in west Yellowstone. You can ride the new sleds for free. Just show up and talk to the dealers. I rode a new 850 rmk and they scoot! The alpha one looks pretty sweet although I can’t stand the purple color. Best looking sled ever was an arctic cat white sled with the black accents!

Nice, I've been away from sledding for about 17 years. Back then I was a Polaris guy but last year when we decided to get back into snowmobiling I got a couple of good deals on Arctic Cats, we rode them a bit last year but looking forward to riding this year.

I used to have to work that show. Holy crap I hate them. Zero chance I would pay to go to 1 now.
I paid a couple years ago to go to the boat show after saying I wouldn't, wont repeat that mistake.
It is nice seeing Scott and some other guys though.

Those are nice looking sleds! I own 2 Polaris had an arctic cat before that and currently have a skidoo for work. Hands down I have to say the skidoo is the best sled I’ve ever rode. I do know Polaris had some issue with all their 800cc sleds this year. A buddy at the local dealer said Polaris came and picked up every 800 that had been delivered to dealers and took them back to the factory. Had to be a big deal if they didn’t tell the dealers what was wrong or let them fix the issue.

Wow that must be something major, we were looking at Skidoo. I think if we hadn't found such good deals we would have bought Skidoo.

Hats what happened to me with my Polaris. I was looking for 1 summit x 800 and got 2 pro RMK 800s for less then if I bought 1 brand new one. Fully equipped with bags and covers 491 and 507 miles. Hard to say no to that!

When I lived in Edmonton I went to all the outdoor shows. When you look at 30 bucks for a few hours of walking around and looking at sleds, boats, ATV etc it was well worth it for me. I liked to buy tickets for most of the Fish and Game and other raffles and usually run into quite a few people I knew. I haven't been to the Sled show for a few years but there used to be a great deal on clothing.

People pretty well know what the costs are but if you are passionate about the outdoors for most it is money well spent. If you think it is to much why do you even bother going?

Nice sleds, I bought a new Arctic Cat Lynx last year. It was actually a new 2016 that they were blowing out in November, got a great deal and with the exception of about 3 weeks we had some good sledding around here, the best in a few years.

Yah the boat and sportsmen show is usually good, wasn't much to see at this snowmobile show.

Ken that is what I thought as well until my new yamhee mp was top heavy and drove like herding cats. Wanted it for a trapping and family riding sled so I pick up a MP. Was never so happy when it went down the road and i replaced it with a Skandic WT.

Arctic cat and Yamaha are in bed together. Yamaha uses Arctic cat chassis on all their mountain sleds and use their own motors. All the new arctic cats have Yamaha gauges.

That they can, I knew a guy that could get around 300hp on his nitros. Still sounded like a crotch rocket and did not have the tell tale 2 stroke snowmobile smell! Had all the power in the world but if he stopped it still sunk like a boat anchor...
