Default Pretty cool clock

Came back a few days ago from visiting the folks (both mine and in-laws) for a couple of weeks. I thought I would share a couple of pictures of the clock my dad has that some of you might enjoy. For whatever reason, I had never really took a note of it until this visit, in spite of him having it for many years now. I mean I saw it but never really bothered to take a closer look. Anyway, here are the pics:

Neat, leave it to the Germans to make a clock like that!

Nice. Have a look at this place in the Schwarzwald. I've been to this store a few times.

They are interesting units for sure.
They can get very and I mean very elaborate.
Now, I'm off to search for a cuckoo clock on CL.

Thanks for sharing! I love these clocks.

I spend a couple of days in Germany shopping for the perfect clock.

We went with one that has a cabin on top that turns around to show either a summer scene or a winter scene. Perfect for Canadian winters! It is a little large however.....
