Default Computer scam claiming to be Dell

Got a pretty convincing call tonight from someone claiming to be from Dell. Third time they have called in the last two weeks. Was pretty convincing as they knew my name, computer model, and service tag number. After playing with him for 10 minutes we either got cut off or he hung up on me, hard to tell as he was fading in and out. Anyway be aware.

Looks like Dell pulled the same trick as lenovo did with superfish preinstall...

All dell owners running winders may want to read up on eDellRoot.

Well, this is the lowdown on superfish - the other side of things...

And if you have it, here's the instructions from Dell... I imagine someone will lose their head over this one.
