Default Thank God for Whiskey

Started out with a very carefully thought out plan for today, got a bit of an addition I'm building, Time to drywall. Got there extra early to make sure the lumberyard guys put the sheets in the right places. I work by myself, for obvious reasons, so planning is the norm.

Get a call from the truck driver, he's on the right road, but can't find the place. Turns out the misread the directions and they're 10 miles north of where they're supposed to be. Wrong highway. Ok, get that straightened out. Wait a while, still no truck, They're one road over from where they're supposed to be, on the A version of the right road. Helper says, I've been here before, with the windows.

Look at the load, 12 ft. sheets, I specified 8 ft. Guy at the desk screwed up, guess that's partially my fault, should have checked the invoice, not the first time he's done that to me. Send them back and they bring the right stuff pronto, good on them.

Finally think I'm gonna get something out of the day, till I set up the drywall hoist, I picked up at the rental shop last night. It's the high ceiling version and won't work in an 8 ft. room.

Take it back and it's too late to go back to work, time to sit here and do a little sipping. No wonder i'm on BP medication.
