I really don't understand .. what is the official classification today of these free roaming horses in Alberta , why the protection ...why can't I go fetch a couple and bring em home to the bar-b-q ? The elk , moose , deer etc are for-sure native and we can .. I buy a license , so why NOT the sacred horse.... I think it's time for a govy decision and lets go get em ...

Who the natives? Haha they just care about hunting in cars and welfare checks nowadays, I wouldn't mind taking there horses though. Because they don't deserve them anymore that's for sure.

Well to be honest.... I don't use a horse for hunting lol....

I would rather see a wild horse grazing on my land beside the elk and moose, than you hunting on my land

your land is the last place on earth I wanna hunt .... but the real problem is you really don't have any private land do you ? ... problem 2 , if you did , why don't you take your famous ponies home and feed them there ... after all you're such a horse lover ..... but the truth be known is you probably released some of them , RIGHT...it would be great if handed down to us some of your best gravy recopies ... thanks

They are not wild horses, they are escaped domestic horses that truly are not native to the eastern slopes. Therefore they should be removed, IMO.

Ah the noble "Alberta Wild Horse"....Next awesome spiritual animal will be the "Alberta Wild Terrier Wolf" worthy of protection to the detriment of native species.

Get a grip man.
