Nothing deeper than that.
We'll have to agree to disagree. I think this group of people after threatening law enforcement should be in jail. That's an armed occupation of federal property to advance personal agenda. ..... that's exactly what domestic terrorism is.

Martial Law? Yep, that's what we are in imminent danger of seeing happening...

DeerGuy and Bowie; don't let the ignorance on this forum bother you. I let some retards on Facebook get under my skin yesterday and it ruined my entire day. Just let it roll off like water from a buffalo's back.

What happened in Oregon was cold blooded murder. I know it; you two know it. The rest on this thread just don't understand it. This has turned into another Waco.

I mourn for the loss of a good man. I feel for his family and the pain that they are going through right now. It is worse that the pain is caused by corruption in the government.

Would be interesting to see what would happen should "paranoia" ever make the list of mental conditions considered in "background" checks.

I can see something like that happening in the USA a lot more then in canada. But I don't see it happening there either at this point. Maybe in the future.

While it is indeed sad when someone is killed or injured, how did they think this was going to play out? Whenever a bunch of wingnuts take up arms, the end is never good! I'm thankful as are others I'm sure, that more people didn't die, but anyone could see it was going to happen, criminals with guns never win in the end!

I wouldn't call it murder, but the question at hand is was he armed. I know he charge the police but if he wasn't armed they could have dealt with it without gun fire. If he was armed then I feel they were justified in the shooting .

I wonder if things would end differently if they called the protest/occupation something like 'Idle no more" or "Occupy", or? Or?

I'm sure the FBI has it all in 4k or better video.

In the video link posted above (MSNBC) - he pretty much tells the world he's armed and will never be taken alive and go to jail on his outstanding warrants.

Bang bang bang.

You know I had great hopes for "idle no more". I really thought more work and less sitting around by a certain group... Nope, I was, wrong again!

State sanctioned murder is what happened in Oregon.

Shame for his kids for sure. Said he was Mormon, I have to wonder if he is of the Warren Jeffs' cultic offshoot of Mormonism. The Mormons I know are the most peaceful, law abiding citizens I know. It was going to end no other way. Sad.

FBI news conference:
FBI says video shows LaVoy Finicum, man killed near Oregon militia standoff, was reaching 'his right hand toward a pocket' before officers shot him; 'He did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket' - @LesZaitz

That's pretty tough to argue against. Feel bad for his family but if you're going to walk that road ...

You must have been watching another video. The one that is posted shows the man lowering his hands and reaching inside his jacket for something.

No way. That video is fake. In the real video he has his hands up saying you can't shoot an unarmed man. This video was doctored by Russians and North Koreans and the CIA who blew up the twin towers. You will see.

Serious note...don't tell the cops your going to die fighting then follow through with it if you have 11 kids. Viagra must of caused brain damage. Sad for the kids.

Not the motions of someone surrendering.

Looks like the gun got hung up in the holster and he was fighting to get it out. Possibly so jacked up on adrenaline he struggled with the holster safety.

Maybe they told him to stick one hand inside his pocket or they would blow his head off. Poor guy. To be set up on video like that....😥😥
