Default buying gun from private party

If i wanted to buy a .22 off my cousin, what would we need to do for the transaction to be legal?

Obviously I have my pal

Call 1-800-731-4000 with your pal, give them the serial # or cert. #, and they do it all free of charge, takes 2 minutes

And make sure that you know both the make and model of the gun. I have even been asked the barrel length and ammunition capacity now and then, it seems to vary with the particular person that you speak with on the phone. If only one of you is present when making the call, the CFC will start the transfer, then give you a reference number to provide to the other party. The other party then calls the CFC, provides the reference number, and the transfer is completed.

Tell them your pa just passed on and he gave you the gun! They don,t care anyhow! Right naw they,s afeared o thar job disapeerin on em!
