Default News story about wolves

I thought I would share this, certain people want to blame trapping for the wolf decline in Banff national park

https://www.rmoutlook.com/banff/banf...j3AsIFnP-RyOpM

And this guy below did a video on how trapping should be banned

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-DQaaV...4cYOwo7HjnN5TA

Hopefully the links works

For sure, people like that are everywhere.

Look at the wild horse fan forums, they are egging each other on to get trapping banned, threatening to disable traps, sharing info on how to pressure the gov't etc.

What happened to the "Good Old Days" when National Park Wardens shot every wolf on sight. The game populations thrived in our parks.

Someone once said you can’t argue with a crazy person. I think we will just agree to disagree.

You should keep posting on his channel. Inquire why he deleted your post. tell him he is way out in left field and throw some legitimate articles and stats his way to discredit his hurt feelings mentality.

He’s probably getting more views from this thread than he would have ever gotten from his 2 friends and family that follow his channel.

Is this guy causing trouble on you line? I just got chased off a muskrat spot because of birdwatchers being upset. Getting really tired of people making something that has nothing to do with them their business. Why can’t they just go away.

It's a bit premature for the Park officials to be complaining about wolves not killing bison.

Bison were not in the park for a century. The park wolves have never encountered them. It will likely take some time for the wolves to adapt to killing bison. Maybe they never will?

In the meantime Parks officials might have to cull the bison herd in order to control it.

It appears that the biggest problem here is that the wolves leave the safety of the park. So wouldn’t it be in the best interests of these people to train the wolves not to leave the park?
