So only Carolina and the Rangers are up 2 - 0 all other series are tied 1 - 1 Vegas had a big push in the 3rd, the Avs got their act together after being down 2 - 0 in the 1st and pulled it out, some good hockey to watch

Thumbs up Jets forward Barron weighs in on recovery after taking skate to the face in Game 1

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/cur...719a5156&ei=41

"Some guys have told me it looks better than they expected and some guys look at me like I'm a science project," he said Thursday. "So I'm kind of getting both ends of the spectrum. But it feels pretty good actually.

Sums it up right there about playoff hockey and what it takes to WIN the Stanley Cup.

Isles with 4 goals in just over 2 minutes to get the decisive win. Thought it was going to be 3 games to none for the Canes after this one, to be honest.

Two goals on the first three shots of the game and it is 1-1 for the Leafs and Tampa. Good start.

I watched the whole game and all the OT on Spotsnet, didn't realize it was even on TSN, sportsnet showed TO and TB during the intermission then switched back and showed until LV scored to win it.

Too bad, I'm rooting for the Jets. Don't like Vegas and the Jets are a Canadian team.

All 8 series will be 2 - 1 by the end of tonight, Avs - Kraken still playing, the devils just just won in OT to get back in the series.

Ditto
What a heart breaker, the Jets gave it their all in the 3rd and OT. They deserved a win, but one bad bounce...

Agree with the second part , especially on the penalty kill . what the hell do they keep turning their backs to the puck , it seem like the kings are a step ahead and oil are playing catch up on the play . Please stop taking stupid penalty

Something we can agree on. Not AT ALL a fan of Vegas, or their bandwagon jumping fans.. I just hope their fans keep showing up to support them when they aren't contenders anymore and they don't turn into yet another NHL charity case like so many before them.

And the Jets are a pretty easy team to get behind. There's only one Canadian team I would have a problem supporting. TORANNA! And it's not even the team I dislike, it's the Toranna centric media that just loves cramming everything Leafs down our throats. Even more now that they have a decent team.

I think I've aged about a decade since this Oiler / Kings series started. From the lowest of lows to the highest of high's, my poor blood pressure..

5-3 Oilers for game 5, you heard it here first, a multiple goal win.

Seattle/Colorado games a gooder. Kraken are fast and hungry. Hope they can pull off a win in OT for the crowd.

Freaking Vassilevsly, man. I really thought he would pull it together, man. Quite disappointing. And I am not even an “anti-Leafs” guy. Haven’t watched today’s game, but watching the previous one, I just knew the Leafs were going to score in the OT ones they get the pack. Lame, man. And I thought Tampa did very well last game: good speed (especially given the age they have on the other guys), excellent possession, good chances; staying out of the box would help, but what are you gonna do. If only the guy could stop the puck. I would not discount them yet, but…

Tough go for the Jets. They are probably over.

Yup it's elimination day today the Islanders and Panthers could both be out today with a loss and doubt they can win 3 straight to move on.

Kraken are playing well didn't think it would be that close with the Av's, the Jets and TB are done for doubt they can win 3 straight to move on, the Oil and Kings, Wild and Stars, Rangers and Jersey it's anybody's series, depends who wants it worse.

Glad to see Ebbs still scoring HUGE goals. Seems that's all that kid does. If you look up "clutch" or "gamer" in the Dictionary there will be a head shot of Ebbs.

One of the SportsNet talking heads called the Kraken arena the crackhouse

Too bad the Jets folded, but that Vegas team is such a solid well rounded team, and fast. Guess I should hope for more realistic things to happen.

Glad to hear Calgary finally got a new NHL arena. Now all they need is an NHL team!

McKinnon hasn't really entered the series yet. Once he gets moving, it's all over - Avs all the way. He's "only" at a point per game and he was playing at close to 2 points per game at the end of the season. Makar being out one game won't help them but McKinnon will probably win one on his own...

I wouldln't say I'm cheering for them per say, but I wouldn't be upset if the Leaf's advanced. I dislike the city, and think it's funny how they keep losing in the 1st round to Tampa, but Brodie, Gio, Marner, O'Rielly, Tavares....seem to play the game decent, Perry and Maroon on the other hand....
