Default APA Bow - Time for a new string. APA factory original, or ...?

Well, it's time to change out the string on my APA Mamba M2 - And I know everyone has their favourite brand of string - but seeing as APA has strings available for their bows, I'm wondering if that's the best route to take for this bow.

I'm interested in seeing what everyone's recommendation is, especially those with experience with APA bows.

TIA!

Default Looked into it for my m6...

...man, sticker shock on a new string. I'm watching this thread. My buddy who is a bow nut recommend GAS bowstring. I'd like to see what others say.

Gah, I'm a spaz. Mamba M7 is my model. (d'oh)

So to follow up, APA uses Scorpions. And they're reasonably priced. Can be more if you want fancy colors etc.

Shipping is less than $20 to AB.

If they still come with Scorpion strings, hard pass; Scorpion will never see another dime of my money.

A few years ago, I ordered a replacement set of strings and cables, except mine only came with one cable. I called and spoke to someone on the phone who couldn't believe that something like that happened, but I assured him it did. Never heard from them again after that, even several voice-mail messages later.

search out custom string builders. There are lots in western Canada that produce quality products. I wouldn't put scorpion strings on my bow if I got them for free.
