....a 20" Katahdin 45/70 barrel followed me home from the HP gun show...

OAL 34"

Weight is about 5ish pounds (bathroom scale not working)

Recoil is.... Manageable but stout

Will make an excellent walkabout rifle I believe.

Think the missus is gunna have to share her encore with me till I find another frame for this puppy

With a thunderous boom followed by a WHOOMP with lots of snow flying up in the air

Actually I just messed around at 25M seeing if I could hit anything... Think I will put a LER scope around x2 power on it for groups... The fiber optic / diopter leaves a bit to be desired for all but close fast work for my eyeballs.
