Default Lee Enfield scope

So I got a bubba'd Lee Enfield a while back from my brother inlaw. Its a No4 MK1. It has a Zuiho scope mounted on it. Anyone know anything about these? Worth, history etc? The scope isnt half bad, I just prefer the iron sights on the LEE Enfield and am thinking of selling the scope/mount to fund my .223 varmint gun optic. Thanks!

I've never heard of that brand of scope, but if it holds zero and your comfortable with it, and your ok with those crosshairs, then keep it. Maybe google will turn up something. What power is it?

I had one as my first rifle and shot my first deer, then first buck with it. They are quite accurate and robust. Cannot really see the whole rifle in the pics but should be worth around $200 give or take(you could sell the 10 round mag for $50 bucks!). Drawbacks to these guns are
Kinda heavy, kinda ugly(I never cared about that tho..). Mine shot 2 1/2" groups at 200yrds on perfect days using 160gr core locks, which is good enough for most hunting.

I think he wants to sell just the scope. The scope is worth what someone will give you for it, and I'm guessing that that number is low enough that you're better off just keeping the scope.

I'm old and have never heard of this scope. Just keep it and mount it on a 22.

I'm definitely keeping the rifle! I just wasn't sure if anyone had any info on that scope. It's a fixed 4x32mm with a nice reticle. Built in Japan. Just did a quick perusal on google to no real effect

Apparently named after a Jap aircraft carrier.

Means fortunate Phoenix.
