Default SAKO A7's

So has anyone heard if the Sako A7's will be coming to the Canadian Distributors?

We do not expect to see the A7’s until sometime in 2009.

Thank you for your interest in Sako products.

Can you give a fellow any idea when we in Canada may see the A7 on our favorite dealers shelves?

thank you

And again since it is actually Beretta USA doing the importing it may be longer than that.

Some similarities for sure but it's a different gun no doubt. Stock is the biggest difference......much nicer than the Tikka in my mind.

Ya, I held and shot the rifles side by side and the A7 is definitely no clone.

Yeah, I have handled both the Tikka and Sako and there is no comparison. The Tikka feels like a plastic piece of sh*t. Sako is much more user friendly and nicer to look at.
Thanks for the info guys.

Hmmm....I gotta say that the stock on the A7 felt pretty plastic and hollow as well....worse to me than the Tikka, I just like the way it fit better.....plus I kinda like plasticy.

The Tikka feels like a plastic piece of sh*t?...really? As far as synthetic stocks go..don't they all feel like plastic?

Are you planning on looking at it or shooting it? User friendly? Is it a computer or a gun?

Just messing around.... but I still maintain that for the price the Tikka is a remarkable firearm. I may be just a bit biased though.
