Smile 30-06 parker hale safari deluxe

I have a 30-06 parker hale safari deluxe rifle I am trying to find more information on and a value. The barrel markings are ...BNP.....A608....Birmingham England... with the crossed scepters... NB private view mark of i believe 1962... lost the pictures but can take more if need be.

Is the reciever thumb cut for stripper clips,and where is the safety?

what is a stripper clip? And safety is on the left of the bolt.

Okay, that's a surplus '98, not a Santa narbara action.
value would be anywhere form $300-$450 depending on the scope.
